Three months have passed, and Penny laments that her stepson left her for another woman, i.e., Vicky. Her husband Peter (Dick Chibbles) filed for divorce, having suspected she was having an affair. Benny helps her pack her belongings, to move out to a new apartment, as Peter got control of their house. He promises her he’ll visit as much as he can, but she points out he’ll be busy with his upcoming wedding.
“The truth is I’m going to miss you. I’m already missing living with you”, Benny confesses. Stepmom kisses him on the forehead, agreeing: “I’m going to miss you too. You know I think I married your father because I was in love with you”, she flirts. They reminisce, but it’s time to load up the car and Benny impulsively kisses Penny on the lips, repeatedly, like old times. She tries to resist, but can’t help but respond to Benny’s insistent kisses, with her ending up sitting on his lap on the living room couch. “Do you want it?”, she purrs. “Mommy, I want it”, he responds.
