It’s Valentine’s Day, I get home from work to find that my husband has left me a very sweet surprise. On the bed is a box of chocolates, and a box wrapped in a bow. There’s a note on top that reads “Put this on and wait for me to get home.” My husband always knows how to get me excited. Inside the box is some lingerie and a blindfold. I change into the lingerie and tie the blindfold around my face and wait eagerly on the bed for him to get home. While I’m blindfolded and waiting, my husband texts me repeatedly about running late. He knows I’m going to be so disappointed so he reminds me that I have the house to myself tonight because our son is going over to his friend’s house, and tells me to enjoy my evening despite the change of plans. However, I never see the text messages from him.
